about our practice
taking a pause means intentionally leaning into what we are feeling and allowing for stillness in the moment. it means noticing what is happening internally and creating space to physically, emotionally, and energetically reset.
it is about taking a pause from the busyness of life and dedicating time and space to you and your growth.
at a place to pause we value slowing down, sitting with our thoughts, emotions, and sensations, and exploring what is beneath the surface of our reactions, urges, and tensions.
our goal is to help you fully and authentically connect to your experiences, deepen your relationship with yourself, and learn to heal from the inside out.
psychotherapy is primarily a talk-based therapy, intended to help people improve and maintain their mental health and well-being (crpo, 2024).
at a place to pause, we use a variety of treatment modalities to support your varying needs and will provide you with prompts and strategies to practice outside your session time.
we encourage awareness of the mind-body connection and draw attention to the various factors that might impact your health and well-being.
if you are unsure about beginning therapy, we are happy to offer a free consultation so you can get to know us and ask any questions you may have.
we see clients from all walks of life and are accepting of all cultural, gender, and sexual identities.
